We're back

I am back. Let's see. It has been one sickness after another here. I haven't had much time for anything. It was colds, then the flu, then Michael with pneumonia, Zac with an ear infection, and now Zac is coughing like he has croup.

Michael: He is doing well. He got his report card and he is doing perfect. He is right where he should be. I think that he can use a little more practice with writting. He only made it to 2 basketball practices due to illnesses. It seems like he gets sick around this time because that happened last year too. He still goes to tammies and loves it. He is waiting for his concert, on Mother's Day, and of course his concert in Florida. And Michael is anxiously awaiting soccer. Not sure when that starts.

Zac: He is good. He just hangs out all day with Luka and I. He doesn't actually do much. He is smart too. He will be ready to start preschool this coming school year. I will then only have one at home. Well, Zac will be gone for half of the day. The school is going to let me start him because he misses the cut off by 2 weeks. But I have to sign a paper saying if he doesn't do well, he will have to repeat. We are OK with that. I wouldn't mind to keep Zac home another year, but he is really bugging to go to school like Michael. I think he will do fine. It he is actually less than 14 days from the cut off. We will also be seeing if he will be interested in tammies. He acts as if he is, but he still acts a little shy sometimes, so we will give it a try after this summer.

Luka: BOY is he ever mobile now. He gets into EVERYTHING!!!! He loves Zore, the bigger dog. He is always laying on him. I watch though because I just don't trust him. Any dog can get ticked. We just got him shaved because Luka was becoming a hair ball after laying on him. Anyway, he isn't saying anything more, but he sure is curious. He discovered that you can put objects into each other and that is his big thing now. He also has to follow Michael and Zac everywhere. He wants to be just like them: eat what they eat, play what they play, go where they go, and he even fights with them. If they are watching TV, Luka will go and shut it off just to get to them. It is funny. He is very smart, you can just tell. He goes to sleep good. Mike rocks him and puts him to bed by 9pm and he sleeps until the morning anywhere between 7am-11am. Times vary. Usually 9am. So, can't complain there. He still has to be held and rocked to take a nap. That all depends on his mood of the day and what time he got up. There are times that he doesn't take a nap at all. He eats well. Anything and everything. You can't get anything without him wanting it. He whines and points to things to let you know what he wants. He is very pleasant and kind of just explores the house all day. And I know, his hair is getting long. My niece wanted his long, so I said, we will let it grow and see. Mike hates it and threatens to cut it all of the time. But, I don't think that a one year old would sit through a hair cut.

So, that is what we are up to.
