Well, Michael bugged and bugged until he got the present that he really wanted, a guinea pig. I did extensive research before and found they can be good pets. They have the hamster, but it is very wild, and a little small for them to handle. Plus, it has bitten. Hamsters are known for that, whereas guinea pigs aren't. So we took him to Petco, because they had the biggest variety and got one. We tried to come up with a name signifying the fact that it is dark and almost a caramel color and came up with Snickers. Michael and Zac both LOVE it. For now, it is in the livingroom because I want it to get adjusted to them and I don't want them picking on her. So now, we have a zoo. The little animals are the easiest to take care of.
Other news, Luka is almost sitting by himself now. He does very well, but sometimes still loses his balance so you still have to be there to catch him. I would say within a couple of weeks, he'll be on his own. How fast he is growing. Right now, I am worried about his eye. It keeps watering and is all red. Not pink eye, just irratated. Boy little thing. I looked and there is no eyelash in it. My eye acted up last week too. Maybe it is something in the air.
I got a video of Luka sitting. You can see, he still loves to scream too.
We are going to dinner at the Ichiban, a Japanese teppanyaki hibachi grill today and then Wildwood Highlands for Michael's birthday. So will be posting more pics tomorrow.
