Michael's 5

We started Saturday at the Ichiban, the Japanese place. We LOVE to go there. It is a little pricey, but we always find coupons. It is worth it too. You get good food and good entertainment. I am the coupon girl. That is the only way to seem to afford things today. I buy an entertainment book which usually has buy one get one free coupons to attractions and dinners. Anyway, after we went to Wildwood Highlands. They loved it of course. Even Luka loved looking around. When we were done, Michael and Zac wanted to spend the night at Kristy's. I let them because it has been a while. The next day, Sunday, she took them bowling and then we all went to my mom's. She made a cake for Michael because his birthday party is the 1st. But everyone needs some cake on their birthday. So that was it. Michael's exciting 5th birthday. Some of the pics are hard to see and fuzzy. We still haven't mastered night photos.

So Sunday we are at my mom's and I realize that Michael sounded wierd. I asked him if he had a cold and he said no. I looked in his throat and his tonsils are VERY swollen with white spots. Then I looked at Zac, same thing. Well Michael and Luka were already going to the Dr for their 5 year & 6 month check up. So, we added Zac. Both Zac and Michael tested negative for strep and Luka doesn't even have a red throat. So, they figure it is a virus and it will work itself out.


DR REPORT!!!!


Michael is now 44" tall (75%) and 40lbs (50%). So that is good. Everything good there. I had her tell him how important vegetables were, but he didn't care. He was suppose to get shots, but due to the virus, he didn't. I hope they let him start school. I will have to call tomorrow.

Luka is now 19lbs 14oz (95%) and 28 1/2" tall (95%). BIG BOY!! Funny, this is the same kid that they thought was too small. He did get his shots. He isn't a happy camper now. 3 shots is alot for a little one to take. I guess the shots are better than the things you can get if you didn't get them. It is just sad to watch such a little thing go through that. So both boys are doing great. Zac will be getting his check up next month, so we will see about his stats then.
