Me and Chris HokeWell we all know that yesterday and today is draft day. At Heinz Field they had a Steeler Fan Blitz yesterday. I had never been there so I didn't know what to expect. They had new and old players there, but no real big names. Atleast that's how I felt. They were: Chris Kemoeatu, Louis Lipps, Shaun Nua, Bryan Hinkle, Chris Hoke, Trai Essex, Randy Grossman, Robi Cole, Kendall Simmons, Nate Washington, Brandon Joe, Mike Wagner, Dwight White, Bryant McFadden, Gerry Mullins, Erik Jensen, Dwayne Woodruff, Mike Tomczak, Craig Bingham, Andre Frazier, Jerame Tuman, Jon Kolb, John Banaszak, James Harrison, and some OK names like Brett Keisel, Mike Logan, and Marvel Smith. Well basically you go there to get autographs. Different players were there for 2 hours at a time in 4 different locations. When we got there, we got straight in line for Chris Hoke and Bryan Hinkle being that of all the players at that time, I only knew of Chris Hoke. It took 2 hours of standing in line to get their autograph. After that, we decided that nobody there was worth 2 hours wait. I mean it's not like Polamalu, Ward, Porter, or Roethlisburger were there. We did get to go into the locker room which was cool. It is way bigger than anyone would think. They had some of the lockers set up: Ward, Roethlisberger, and Polamalu. Troy has to be my favorite player. I love his versatility. They had the Super Bowl XL trophy there. It was so shiny that it was hard to get a descent picture of. They had give aways and contests, but basically the players are the reason to go. We enjoyed ourselves, but from now on, I know to see who is going to be there before I decide to go. Then I need to decide if they are worth waiting 2 hours for. I am sure Steeler Fans from the past will know more of those names than I did, but I was pretty little when some of those names played. Looks like we did O.K. in the draft. Then I noticed that we won back to back Super Bowls: 1975, 1976, 1979, and 1980. Now that we won 2005 lets hope we can get another back to back win in 2006. Lets go Steelers.

We like Polamalu too! I call him Longy long hair. LOL. For Obvious reasons.
Glad you had a good time, you are definatly a fan when you know all their names and wait 2 hours for an autograph.
So you have a steelers scrapbook?? You should think about keeping one if you don't.
