Is the lamb done yet?
Making snow cones: Conner, Amy, Michael, Me, Ray, Petey, and KristySaturday, May 6th was our St. George. It is the day that our ancestors were first baptised into Christianity. There are many different Slava's or Patron St days, but that is when ours is. The whole Holava side of the family was there because it is a Serbian holiday. As a matter of fact, Serbian's are the only one's with such a holiday. We roasted a lamb, as always, and had lots of food including 2 foods associated with the slava, Kolach, a bread the symbolizes Jesus' body as a whole and Koljevo, wheat ground up, it's sweet. The kids enjoyed playing outside all day and they got a treat when Kristy made them snow cones. Michael and his cousin (Sally's son) Petey really enjoyed the trampoline and the sand box that Mike and I had made for the kids. The day went well, but it was hard too. It is one thing when everyone is talking, you don't have time to think of all of the family that we lost in the past few years, but when you are alone it hits you. Srecan Slava Petey, Baba, Jedo, Danny, and Tate. WE LOVE YOU and think of you always.

I'm sure this year of holidays has been really hard for all of you.
It looks like you all had some good times though.
