Oglebay

The first snow of this year, December 5, 2009. A little tiny dusting and the kids were excited. They can't wait for some snow. Hopefully we will get some. We haven't really had much in the past few years. I am not too hopeful.

We took the kids to see the Christmas lights at Oglebay. I have never gone early enough to do the zoo part. It sure was an experience to do the zoo in the winter. It was cold, but atleast we were walking. It wasn't a big zoo, but it was big enough. The kids enjoyed it. What they enjoyed most of all was the tiny bit of snow that was on the ground! You would have thought they never seen snow before. It was very busy. There were tour buses full of people. It only took about 45 mins to walk through the zoo. After the zoo, there was a lazer show. The kids enjoyed it. Then we seen the Christmas lights. When we were done, we went to dinner at Damon's Steakhouse because we heard they will be going out of business and we like it. Then we headed home. It was like an hour and a half from our house. There are closer places, but we haven't been to Oglebay in years. Time is flying by and I can't fit in everything I want to do.

I feel the same. Time is flying by and there are so many things I would like to do and no more time to do it.
