Cedar Point

We left here about 12:30pm on Friday. Mike took a half a day. We got to the cottage, which I forgot to take pictures of, and got situated because everyone else was coming later. When we got ready, we drove down the rode, to the lighthouse and to the beach. We let the kids just walk in the water. Before you knew it, Kristy, Ray, Kayla, Tony, Natalie, Tony, and Milana were there. We hung out by the fire, roasted marshmellows and had fun. We stayed at a place in Port Clinton, not far from Cedar Point, for 2 nights so we didn't have to drive so much.

The next day, we went to Cedar Point. The first ride Michael went on was the Demon Drop. I sat that one out. I took the little ones over to the water and they played in it. They had a blast. They then went in the first kiddie area and there were bigger rides too. I can't believe the amoung of kiddie rides they have there. Last time I was there, they had the Berenstain Bears, but now it is all Snoopy. They have 3 seperate kiddie lands for the kids. Plus they can ride some of the bigger rides too, just not the coasters. They had two little coasters of their own. Michael's first coaster was the Corkscrew, upside down, loops, twists, turns, and I had him sit in the very front seat. He loved it. FAR from the Jack Rabbit and Racer at Kennywood. Then it was off to the Magnum XL 200. He had NO FEAR what so ever. He was laughing the whole time. Even going up the 200 foot hill for the whole 1 min that it takes, he was looking all around. I think I get more nervous than he did. My dad would be smiling. Being it was a weekend, some of the lines were long: the 400 Ft Dragster, 300 Ft Millenium Force, and the Maverick, so we decided not to wait. Besides, Michael only could go on the Millenium Force anyway. It worked out really well and everyone ahd a good time, but everyone was TIRED by the end of the night. It sure is a big park and it was hot and humid. It was funny, when I planned the trip I said "watch it be 90 degrees." It was! Oh well, it was fun.

The next day, we woke up and Tony and Natalie left. Kristy, Ray, Mike, me and all the kids went to the beach. They had fun. It was so warm. Zac swims so good. We went back, ate, and left and headed up to where the lighthouse was and went fishing. It is so beautiful around Marblehead and Port Clinton which is real close to Cedar Point. That is where we stayed. We were talking about going back because it is so nice and there is so much to do. Just not enough time. So, that was our trip. Summer is about over now. Time to get ready for school.

For those who do not know what the Magnum is, here is a couple of pictures so that you will know how brave Michael is.
