Deer Park

We took the kids to a place called Deer Park this past weekend. It is up neat Pymatuning. We have never been there before, so we decided to go. It is smaller than a zoo, but it is nice because you are able to feed alot of the animals. You can buy food and feed some by hand, and the others that are dangerous to get close to, they set up tubes and you put their food in there. The kids love going to places like this. It gives them an opportunity to see the animals closer than at the zoo. When we went over by the mountain lion, it was so close, if you were stupid enough, you could lean over the fence and pet him. Believe me, there were people there doing it. It acted just like a cat. I wouldn't go sticking my hand in there though. Luka was afraid to feed the animals at first, by the end, he was waiting for the food. I can say, he is my most cautious kid. He is always watching where he is walking so he doesn't fall, taking his time, and when he sees animals, he is always saying "bite."

When we were done, we headed to Pymatuning

The battery in my camera died, so I took a few pics with my phone. They have a spillway where all of the fish go and get stuck. You can go there and feed them. The kids really enjoyed themselves. The fish were HUGE. They want to go back and go to the beach part. We told them that we would try. It is 2 hours away from our house. There are closer places. They probably would never know if we took them to another one, lol. So, it was a nice day. Yes, summer is getting here. We will be busy. Hopefully I can keep up with getting it on the computer.
