IX amusement park

We took the kids to the IX Indoor amusement park in Cleveland again this past weekend. We weren't in too big of a hurry to get there, so we arrived at 2pm. Right in the front was a massage place, well that is where I went. Mike and my mom took the kids on some rides. Mike decided to get the boys on the big ferris wheel since there was no real big line. The whole front of the building was kiddy rides. Michael started to get bored and Luka started to get tired so we headed to the back. Zac, according to the one stick, measured 42". We put him in line for the big drop thing and when he got up there, he was turned away. He was just short. So we decided that I would keep Michael in the bigger rides and Mike and my mom would tackle Luka and Zac on the kiddie rides.

Michael and I stood in line for one ride for 30mins. He then started to tell me he didn't want to wait. I explained that you have to wait in line in parks. So we went on the next ride. He had his eyes set on a real big ride that probably went 60' in the air almost upside down, but chickened out. Anyway, by now, the lines were TERRIBLE, worse than Kennywood. It was like a mad rush. And not too good of a crowd if people (like you Uncle Gary) that lived near Cleveland knows what I mean. The IX was NEVER like that before. So Mike waits in line for another big ride, which by the way you had to be 42" on, and I tell Zac to go try. Wouldn't you know he was tall enough. Go figure. I guess 42" is different on each ride.

The kids rode a while longer, but by this time, you couldn't walk through the place. People were standing there and wouldn't move, so we decided, around 7:30pm to leave. We learned, if we go back, to go as soon as it opens, start in the back, and get out.

We left and went to dinner at a hibachi restaurant that I got a coupon for. If anyone doesn't know, there is a place called restaurant.com where you can get certificates cheap. And then, sometimes there are coupon codes online so you can get like a $25 gift certificate for $3. Anyway, it was good.

So that was our adventure. Like I said, if we do it next year, we learned a valuable thing this year GO EARLY AND GET OUT!!

I remember going to the IX center and having lots of fun too. Sorry this time wasn't as fun for you, rude people can do that.

I never saw the last couple of posts?? When you mentioned about this post in a comment on my blog I decided to go and look and here it was, LOL. Wonder why I didn't see it before? Old age I guess, LOL.
