Luka is 2

Happy Birthday Luka!!!! Our little baby isn't such a baby anymore. He didn't have his 2 year check up yet for his stats, due to an ear infection, but I know he weighs about 34lbs and is almost as tall as Zac. He is a BIG boy. He is alot of fun. He loves attention and loves to be held. He can't get past Christmas, he still likes you to sing him Christmas carols. He will get up on your lap and say "ho, ho, ho." He is starting to try to say everything now. He is getting better in his talking and what he can't say, he makes sure to get his point across of what he wants. He still isn't sleeping all night in bed. He goes to bed in his bed after being rocked, but then, in the middle of the night, he ends up in our bed. There has been times he has stayed in bed all night. I know the only way to stop this is to fight with him in the middle of the night and neither Mike nor I have the will to do it. He is very smart. He catches onto things quickly. I think having older brothers to show him things helps. He has been referring to himself as baby now. It is cute. He is completely independent in feeding himself. He likes to do things on his own, but sometimes, he still likes to be the baby. He absolutely LOVES Zore, our dog. He lays on him, follows him around, drags him around. The dog takes alot. He loves his brothers too, but he doesn't take any crap. He is a fighter.

On his birthday, we took him to a place called the Northpark Clubhouse in Robinson. I didn't feel like fighting the Chuck E Cheese crowd. We had dinner first and it was good. They let us take his presents and our own cake which was nice. Alot of places wouldn't do that. Luka had alot of fun opening his presents. Then the staff at the restaurant brought out a big card board cake and sang to him. He was so mezmorized. When we were done there, we went to the arcade side, Luka had a blast. Well, all of the kids did. What kid wouldn't? Well, even us adults did, lol. (Oh and on the pictures, if you notice Milana's hair looks wierd, she pulled a Zac and cut her hair. I guess it's a kid thing.)

On another note, we have all been sick here. Like I said, Luka has an ear infection. It started with an upper respiratory thing. I have it, I have been wheezing and on an antibiotic and an inhaler, now they called me in prednisone. And now Michael and Zac got it. Fever Thurs and Friday and now both are complaining of their ears so a trip to the Dr. tomorrow. This has been a bad year in this house.

And I am trying to get picture from Kristy from our trip to Cranberry. We went for a night for my birthday. We stayed at a hotel, curtosy of my wonderful sister, and the kids had a BLAST in the pool. Just something to do.
