We had Michael and Zac's birthday party. It was a beautiful day. The kids had a blast. They were non stop. They played, swam, had water balloon battles, rode their cars, swang on the swing, ate, played some more. It was fun. They got lots of presents: nice school outfits, ben 10 toys, skate boards, Indiana Jones whip, Star Wars gun, Playstation Star Wars game, Indiana Jones game, Star Wars Game, Telescope, microscope, Mickey figurine, new battery for their cars, pads for their skateboards, Ben 10 movie, they sure are happy.
Michael is doing good in school so far. He got his first a+. We are proud. I just keep having to remind him to pay attention. He seems to like to rush. Zac is having difficulities still. On Tues, after Labor Day weekend, he had a bad day at school. I had the neighbor (we take turns) walk him to school. He refused to go in. The teachers had to carry him. Then, when he got to class, he was uncooperative for an hour. They have cards that go from green, yellow, then red. If you stay on green, meaning you were good, for 5 days, you go to the treasure chest and get a prize. When you act up, warning number one you go to yellow. You continue to act up, you go to red and a note gets sent home to your parents. Well, he had to move to yellow. The teacher told me about it because I know her from before with Michael. I just don't know why he is still having difficulties. He says he likes school, he likes the teachers, he has fun, he likes the kids. He gives no real reason when you ask him why he cries. I don't know. So now, after that, I am trying the reward thing. Everyday that he doesn't cry, he gets a star on the calendar when he gets home. If he is good until his birthday, the 15th, he can get the deluxe ben 10 watch he wants. It has worked for 2 days now. I am hopin that after his birtday, it will be long enough in school that he won't cry anymore.
I also have Kennywood pics to post. I will get them on as soon as I can. Gotta go finish dinner now.
Oh, I know the slidshow is girly, but it is the only birthday one that they had :)

Glad the reward idea is working out for you, gives him something positve to concentrate on instead of whatever may be bothering him. Probably just some separation anxiety. I'm sure by the 15th all will be well and he'll have gotten his new Reward!!
