4th of July

For the 4th of July, we did the usual. We went to the parade in Midland in the morning and then walked to the park for lunch. It was a VERY big parade and was really nice. Michael was hardly giving Zac a chance to get candy. They got a grocery bag full of candy. It was like Halloween. We went to my mom's, after, for a while, and then went back to Midland to the park for the fireworks, which were nice. We didn't let the kids ride the rides that night. We had taken them the Wednesday prior to the 4th because we knew there would be less of a crowd. Dummy me forgot the camera and Luka was begging to get on the rides. Well, we got him on the rides and he LOVED them. He rode in Disney, but there aren't many "rides" there. Not "true" rides anyway. He cried when we took him off of them. He just kept wanting back on. Well, that prompted my search for some tickets online. I remembered, last year, I got tickets off of this lady for Kennywood for as much as I had to pay for the kids to have a ride band at the carnival. So, I found her email and I am trying to get us tickets. Wish me luck. I had no clue that Luka would be such a rider and now I am on a hunt for some cheap tickets.
