Luka's Birthday/ Valentine's Day

Luka had a great 1st birthday. All of the festivities started Valentine's Day. The boys got their valentine candy. Luka then got his presents from us. He really liked them. On Saturday, the birthday celebration continued. We took him to Safari Sam's. My mom, Kristy, Kayla, Kayla's boyfriend Eric, Tony, Natalie, Tony, and Milana joined us. Luka had a blast!!!! He loved just being free walking around. They had a little balloon thing where the balloons were flying around and he loved trying to catch them. He did really well in the big play gym thing too. We sang Happy Birthday to him and he really wasn't into the cake. Good thing for me, not too much mess. He just wanted to play. He got his presents and was back to playing. He was laughing and running around. He had a great time. All of the kids did. Then Sunday, we went to my mom's and Natalie gave him his birthday gift from her. We had left over cake and Milana insisted that we sing to Luka again. So Luka's 1st birthday turned into a 3 day event, lol. Not too bad huh? So there are lots of pictures to see.

Also, Luka went for his 1 year check up. The doctor said that we couldn't ask for a "more perfectly put together baby". He was very impressed with him. He weighs
27lbs and is 31" long. He is in his 95% for both. The doctor said he is very large for his age. He said that you won't find many one year olds that are that big. The funny thing is, he got 3 shots (prevnar, Hep A, and pneumocaccal) and was a little fussy at night. We went to give him tylenol and when we looked at the dosage chart, the weight range that he is in is that of a normal 2 year old. So everything went well at the doctors. He is now walking very well too. He loves to play with his toys and is very smart. He isn't saying anything new. He has a great personality. He is still a happy baby, or should I say toddler??
