Michael started soccer. The paper came around, and he said that he wanted to, so we let him. He LOVES it. They only had 2 practices and one game. These pics are from the game. The bad thing is, most of the kids played before. They range in age from 5 to 9ish, boys and girls mixed. Well, for a kid like Michael, that never played before, they should explain the basics to him, but they don't. He didn't know which way he was to kick the ball, they were telling him to play defense and he didn't know what that was, you know, simple things. I will have to work with him. Problem is, I don't know much about soccer either. I just feel that they should take a little more time with the new kids. But regardless, he enjoys it. We enjoy watching, so that's good. He really didn't do too bad considering. We are proud of him.

I too, think they should take the time to explain the game to all newcomers.
