Happy B-Day Zac

We went to Kennywood on Zac's birthday. Well, I went on ebay and found tickets dirt cheap. We were suppose to go on the 8th, but it rained. This past weekend was the last weekend that it was open so we had no choice. It was cold, only 60 degrees. So, we bundled up the kids and off we went. My mom watched the news and it said no traffic, good to go. I was planning to leave at 10am and I said to myself "well it only takes like an hour to get there, so we

can leave at 11am." Kennywood isn't that big, you don't have to spend the whole day there. Well, we got stuck in major traffic. It took 2 1/2 hours to go 5 miles and that is NO joke. So, we left at 11am and got there at 3pm. We had a detour, the regular road was closed. It was terrible. So, we got there and discovered that EVERYONE else had the same idea. I guess being it was the last weekend. It was so packed. I NEVER seen it so busy. Who knew that we'd be standing in 20min lines in kiddie land. I couldn't believe the people. I don't know if you could tell, but the picture of the back of my mom's head was Mike trying to get a picture of the people waiting in line at the potato patch for french fries. There had to be atleast 100 people in line. You would think, being chilly, would keep people in. NO!!!!! But, the kids didn't care. They had a blast. Luka was EXCELLENT!!! There was a place to feed him too. Very unusual. The lines were just terrible. Zac was tall enough to ride the bigger coaster, the Jack Rabbit. He liked it. On the little coaster, the picture, he wasn't afraid of it, he was crying because he wanted to go on that boat thing in the next picture. We tried to explain that he would be going on that next. We didn't even attempt to eat there. We ate when we left. Coming home was NO problem. We made it in an hour. So, that is how we spent Zac's birthday. Last park of the season.
