4 month check up

I took Luka for his 4 month check up. Everything is wonderful. He weighs 15lbs 8oz and is 26" long. So he gained 5lbs and grew 2 1/2" since his last appt. I am glad that I trusted myself and kept nursing him instead of listening to the Dr. Hey, that is how god made us right? Apparently he is getting enough food. I found that it is better to talk to the LaLeche league when it comes to nursing concerns instead of a Dr. They know all about it. He got 3 shots. He was crying so bad after we got home. Like someone was stabbing him. I felt so bad because there was nothing that I could do. After the tylenol kicked in, he was fine. There were a few tiny concerns we had. It looked like there were lumps under his arms, NORMAL. It is his muscle just poppin out. His legs, occasionally, would be purple, NORMAL. Usually most babies grow out of it by now, but it can still occur. So everything is good thank god. It is scary, but well worth it
