1 month old

I took Luka to the Dr. yesterday for his 1 month check-up. Everything was fine. He now weighs 9lbs 2oz. That is wonderful considering that he was down to 8lbs a month ago. The Dr was real impressed with the way that he looks around. She said most babies his age are not so alert. She said he is going to be a big kid when she looked at the size of his feet and hands. I asked her about the fact that he seems to be using me as a pacifier. I was told to put him on a feeding schedule. Only feed him every 2 or more hours, but to wait atleast the 2 hours. Not every hour like he does sometimes now. Plus, I can let him sleep for the long 4-5 hour stretches that he does. He is unpredictable. Remember I said he sleeps through the night? Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. Sometimes he goes to sleep around 1AM and sleeps until 5:30 or 6AM. Sometimes he goes to sleep around 1AM, gets up at 2:30AM, 5:30AM, and 6:30AM, then wakes up when Michael gets up at 7AM. He sleeps before 1AM, but that seems to be his last feeding. I am so tired!!!! I can't wait for the weekend, if I make it. The other day the school tried to call me to go pick up Michael because he was saying that his stomach hurt, well I layed down for a nap with Zac and Luka and was so tired that I never heard the phone. Michael was fine thankfully. What a good parent I am right? It's been hard. I know it is only a matter of time and Luka will get on a schedule. I just hope it is soon.
