Schenley train ride

Since Zachary LOVES trains, it was my mission to find him a train ride. I found 2. One in Oil City (like hrs away) and this one in Schenley (suppose to be like one and 1/2 hours). Well we chose Schenley because it was a shorter train ride. It was 30mins and the other was 2 hours. I figured Zac and Michael would not do too good on the 2 hour one. Well I called the place and got directions, double checked them on the internet and we were off. It took like 2 hours to get there. It was a cute little train ride. The boys took their letters for Santa and from what I hear, Santa should be getting back to them. Kristy, Ray, Kayla, Tony, and Mom went with us. When we were ready to leave I decided to look at my map in the car. Here I discovered that we were only like 15-20 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Boy were we pissed. We were up by a new mall called Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills. So we went there. It is a very nice mall. They have an indoor miniature golf that the workers there were nice enough to let Michael and Zac play for free. We were there for hours, just looking. Nobody really bought anything. It is just nice to look around. Then we realized that we were also close to Hartwood Acres Christmas Lights. So we ventured over there. It is the nicest Christmas lights display. I couldn't get any pictures because I had 2 kids on my lap trying to see everything. So, it was a good, fun day. By the way, it only took an hour to get home. Can't always trust internet directions. We just jumped on the turnpike, went a couple exits, and were back. And today, Zac is still talking about riding the CHO CHO
