Mike, Michael, and Kristy
Zac in gym area
We took Michael and Zac roller skating. Zac had fallen asleep and slept most of the time. He woke up and the place was dark and they had strobe lights, it scared him to death. He was so petrified that he was literally shaking. Thank god that they had a play area to take him to. It took awhile for him to get over it, but then he got back to his usual crazy self. Michael had a good time. He got brave at the end and wouldn't even hold our hands. I didn't do to good. I use to go skating every Friday when I was younger so I thought "no problem, it's like riding a bike." Boy was I wrong. First of all, it hurt mine, Mike's and Kristy's legs so bad. Then to make yourself go wasn't easy. I stayed to the outside. I would go a little and stop, but it was fun. I could probably get better again after going a few times. It's funny, you just think you can do everything you use to do when you were younger and you find out that you are wrong. We all had a really good time and plan to return. We did find out that we can just wear our shoes and walk Michael and Zac while they skate. That would probably be easier. Maybe next time we can try roller blades. I never did that before.

I can just picture you all on skates. I'm sure I would be a sight trying to roller skate again.
I glad you had fun though.
Poor little Zac, that would have scared me too.
Hey guys, I was looking through this blog and noticed that there are a lot of events that I was NEVER invited to. I discussed this with Bill. We are the kind of Aunt and Uncle who would have been there. We have friends who's children call us Aunt Miss and Uncle Bill. Their kids love us. We go to anything they invite us to. Also, we have them spend the weekend and have a lot of fun. I cannot count how many times I mentioned that to you guys, and always got some kind of an excuse about Michael not going to sleep. Other parents have thought that too, but we've never had a problem getting children to sleep. We have so much fun playing all day they just pass out by the time evening comes. I get accused of never stopping in, but when did you guys stop in all of the times that you were at Sparkles buying the milk that was on sale, or all of the times you went to buy cigs. in West Virginia, or how about WalMart? I don't want to fight, I just don't want to be the only one accused of not being attentive. I want to have a relationship with my nephews, but for some reason, I'm never included in anything they do. I absolutely Love Christy, and have no problem with her at all, nor do I have a problem with Natalie, but you have to admit, someone picked up the phone and made plans with them to go to all of these fun places. I don't recall EVER receiving an invitation. Love Missy
